For once the weather looked like it was going to be good.  Driving
to Coedy that morning had been through mist shrouded valleys,
with clear blue sky and golden sunshine on the higher ground.  A
perfect day for riding.  Ten of us met in the car park for 9am, we
were the first people there.  Simon was out riding again which
was very good to see, his first ride after a long lay off. Once the
route had been decided we set off on a mix'n'match ride of some
of the best stuff on the MBR and Karrimor Trail.  We split up 1/3 of
the way round due to differing commitments/fitness which left six

up with Simon and Trev a couple of times on
the way round.  After 25miles we ended up
back at the cafe shattered (I know I was
anyway) and grateful for the coffee, cake and
cheese on toast
