There was a good turn out for the first ride, held at the Marin trail in Gwydyr Forest. A lot of the riders were new to me
which was a good sign as the idea was to get more people out riding together. Some voices were heard getting in the
apologies for being slow even before leaving the car park so we did our best to calm fears by repeating that these rides
were about everyone getting round, not how fast they could be done. We then set off on a great crisp winter ride,
under sunny blue skies. The trail was in fantastic condition and the views were breathtaking. The social pace and a
few punctures saw us returning to the car park 3 1/2hrs later with big smiles on our faces.
